The Official Elvis Presley Fan Club of Qatar and Qatar Animal Welfare Society hosted this one nite only Boogie event “Doha’s Disco Fever” in the beautiful Great Ballroom of the W Hotel on Thursday, February 13th from 8 pm in support of “Qatar’s Fur Friends in Need” at QAWS – Qatar Animal Welfare Society.

The theme was “Disco Fever” – Let’s Recall The Good Times, The Memories That Last. It was the first of its kind in Qatar and represented an unrivalled musical celebration of a bygone era of Soul, Disco, Motown, Funk, Boogie Woogie,  Rock ‘n’ Roll, Pop, Rhythm and Blues, and the best of the 80s & 90s.

Guests were invited to “Dress To Impress” in their best “Disco,  60’s, or 70’s” clothing on the night as the 3 Top Dressed were Awarded a Prize.

All Proceeds of this Event actively supported “QAWS – Qatar Animal Welfare Society,” a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of animals in Qatar. QAWS is a well respected Animal Shelter in Qatar which has been a fixture in the community for more than 15 years. They are funded purely by public donations along with offers of support from volunteers, it is home to over 200 animals.
