Once again The Official Elvis Presley Fan Club of Qatar sponsored and hosted an amazing one nite only exclusive event “It’s Time To Dance Through The Decades” in the beautiful Great Ballroom of the W Hotel Thursday nite in support of “Qatar’s Fur Friends in need.” We know Elvis Presley loved his pets whether it was dog, horse or monkey. We paid tribute to The King and his love of animals through this event! Thank you to all those who came, especially dressed beautifully representing a bygone era.

The evenings was “Dancing Through The Decades” a first of its kind in Qatar that represented an unrivalled musical celebration of a bygone era of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Pop, Soul, Disco, Motown, Funk, Boogie Woogie, Rhythm and Blues, the best of the 80s & 90s and the best of Elvis. The event was pulsing with boundless energy and youthful exuberance where guests were asked to dress up in their favourite era- the 50s, 60s, 70s’, 80’s or 90’s

All proceeds of this fundraising event benefited Abdulla Al-Naimi 2nd Chance Animal Rescue, a nonprofit charity in Qatar.

The Official Elvis Presley Fan Club of Qatar will continue to show our community and the whole Middle Eastern Community the beautiful, tender man Elvis was and showcase his music, movies, and life and what he stood for and through this continue to support local animal organizations in need… as Elvis once said ” Do something worth remembering ” and this we will do!
